Wuben X4

A really popular and cost effective EDC flashlight at the moment is the Wuben X4 1500 lumens flashlight.
I got one from Heinne Haynes when they were completely sold out on Amazon.
After having mine for a few weeks now and taking it with me to Amsterdam I can honestly say it's a really good quality flashlight.
I have a Nitecore EDC29 6500 lumens which I usually carry but although the Wuben is only a quarter as powerful as thr Nitecore what sets it apart is its multifunctionality.
1500 lumens is around the standard for the Olight EDC's and its significantly cheaper but it works perfectly as a detterant should the situatiom arise.
It had a strip of bright white LED's on the side and a magnetic back making it an excellent work light with various power settings.
A couple of taps and you can cycle through a bunch of coloured LEDs amd should you find you are in an emergeny you tap the side button twice and it turns into a brightly colourer flashing beacon.
The strong clip on the back means it sits securely in your pocket, or you can clip it on your shirt if you are working on something, attach it to your backpack for handsfree light in the dark or stick it to the underside of your car with the magnet to fix it.
This multifunctionality means I am finding that I am actually using the Wuben X4 more than my much more powerful Nitecore EDC29 as although powerful its just a standard handheld flashlight.
If you are thinking of gettinf a tactical flashlighr for a bargain I would recommend going for the Wuben X4 its £40-£50 online depending on the retailer and its a great EDC tool for day to day life and training in the dojo.
