Axis Martial Arts In Amsterdam 軸武道

Recently we went on a bit of a business trip to Amsterdam and also to celebrate my friend Russells 40th Birthday (We are both getting old!) and Alex's birthday!

Axis Martial Arts 軸武道 offers a diverse range of training in traditional martial arts and weapons systems and as such we are seeking to expand not only to other areas but also other countries. 

One of my long time students Rickie Gomez has already established a dojo in Barcelona and now much like Snoop Dogg we may set up shop in Amsterdam. 

It's one of those places where everyone is pretty open minded and they love espteric wisdom and martial arts (Whether stoned or unstoned lol).

We are seeking to establish our legacy on multiple countries much like JELC (Jon Escudero Lightning Combatives) who have schools im about 9 countries to date.

Being established in other countries also offers more opportunities and more diverse training in countries where firearms are not illegal. 

It means we have to play a much bigger game but we get to travel more and we are working on our next evolution with Russell which is the Axis Martial Arts Association - 軸武道協会 which will provide a huge variety of services and courses. 

We have also made some amazing contacts such as Mike and Astrid who were very helpful while we were there. Got to love dutch people, I had one of the deepest conversations of my life with Michael and Astrid was funny and so welcoming. Don't fuck around with Dutch women they are not afriad to throw down! 

All in all Axis expanding is the next evolution for us, on to bigger and better things over the next few years. This doesn't mean Axis is leaving Portsmouth just that we are expanding into other countries as my students branch out and I have always had a love for Amsterdam anyway having been there about 8 times to date, It's only a 50 minute flight away. 

It's important to enjoy your life too, as Soke says "It's ok to miss training, It's not ok to miss life!" and you make funny memories, Like Alex and Debbie ordering Pizza and Carbonara in a restaurant and me and Russell being kids at 40 and just getting apple pie, Banging apple pie though! 😂
